Hi, my name's Anna, and I have Intellection. This basically means that I like to think a lot. It could be any kind of thinking whether it's reflecting about my day or asking myself deep existential questions. These are usually not separate thoughts, but I can take something that happened today and another thing that my friend said last week, an idea that I'm reading from a book right now, and I'm constantly brewing all these things together in my head.
It's important for me to give myself time and space for solitary thinking. It helps me to gain clarity and find meaning in the things I'm doing. While this introspection may seem to come at the expense of time spent with friends and family, I realise that the people around me appreciate the unique insights that I can offer them because of my own internal musings.
I enjoy asking myself questions as I reflect. I also enjoy asking my friends good questions and challenging them to think about things from a different perspective to push their thinking deeper. In school, my Intellection theme is best utilised where I can take a step back from everything that I'm doing and look at the big picture. This way, I can think everything through and tie all the disparate ideas together.
I like to make sure that for any work I submit, things are well thought-through and there's a coherent thrust that goes through all of them. Because this sort of deep thinking requires time and flexibility, I prefer not to cut my deadlines too close so that I have the space to dig into the concepts and content that is important.
With my Intellection, one thing that I hope to improve on is to communicate my thoughts more often. Because I enjoy introspection so much, it can seem like I'm lost in my own world. I hope to share more of what's on my mind with others so that people know what I'm thinking about. That way, my friends can also offer me perspectives that I would not have thought of by myself.
Overall, my Intellection theme makes me a philosophical and conceptual thinker. You can count on me to give well thought-through insights and various perspectives on a subject.
